As Founder, President and CEO, Shantal leads Stiris in strategic planning and is committed to developing long term relationships with clients. She takes an innovative approach to all challenges and expects the same from her team. Shantal began her career in clinical research in 1995. She brings to Stiris a proven record of leadership in life sciences with extensive global and operational experience at multinational pharmaceutical and CRO companies. Shantal directs the global clinical research services provided by Stiris in collaboration with strategic alliance partners around the world including Europe, India and Australia.

Amanda Carrera

Vice President

Amanda Carrera is a RN with more than 12 years’ clinical research experience. Amanda is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Stiris clinical team and ensures the team operates in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and internal policies. Her objectives are to implement and manage programs to ensure Stiris Research remains an innovative and client focused organization. Amanda’s clinical research experience began as a CRC working in such areas as Dermatology, Cardiology, Respiratory and Oncology. After joining a mid-sized CRO as a CRA she progressed through Project Management, CRA Management and Resourcing and Operations.

Julie Stover

Mastermind of Possibilities

Julie Stover brings an MBA and 16 years’ experience in the clinical trial industry to her role as Manager, Business Operations. She has a strong Oncology background, having served as Research Director for the Myeloma Institute at the University of Arkansas and overseeing operations for over 75 Hem/Onc trials. In her role as COO of a large Site Management Organization in the US, she was responsible for clinical operations for approximately 100 sites, including site selection, feasibility, and investigator relations, as well as budget development and contract negotiations. At Stiris, Julie focuses on developing strong working relationships with new and existing clients, as well as working with the internal to team to ensure Stiris delivers what we say we’ll do when we say we’ll do it.

Robert Soto, MBA
Vice President Sales & Marketing

Mr. Soto brings an MBA and twenty six years’ experience in brand management, marketing and sales. For the past fourteen years he has been engaged in the healthcare environment as sponsor, management consultant and service provider for firms specializing in pharmacoeconomics, disease management programs, electronic medical records and clinical trial management. Robert has been a client and collaborator with Stiris since its inception. Robert will be responsible for corporate strategy, brand management and international sales and marketing efforts.
