London, ON – 12 Jan 2021 – Stiris Research (“Stiris”) an entrepreneurial clinical trial management company focused on the management of Phase I-IIIB trials, today announced it has been awarded the full-service project management contract for a Pharmacodynamic evaluation study using a stepped clamp model in Type 1 Diabetics.
The results of this study will help define the safety and tolerability of this therapeutic and to assess its effect on plasma glucagon in T1D patients.
“We are thrilled to continue working with this Sponsor. Clinical trials involving the glucose clamp procedure can be difficult, and so they require altruistic patients; it can be challenging for the patients, but there is the novel ability to assist in developing a new and innovative treatment for fellow diabetics. Through the collaborative efforts of the Sponsor, the site network, and the passionate team at Stiris, we are confident that this will be a successful and data-rich study for all involved,” said Urszula Bartlomiejska, Project Manager, Stiris Research, Inc.
