Press Release – Stiris’ Shantal Feltham Receives YMCA Women of Excellence in Entrepreneurship

We are pleased to announce that the President and CEO of Stiris Research, Shantal Feltham, is the recipient of the 2019 Women of Excellence Award in Entrepreneurship. This award, presented every 2 years, honours women who have contributed to the growth of their community, and whose accomplishments inspire others to achieve their goals.

Shantal’s passion, leadership, and dedication has driven her team (>90% of whom are women) to build a successful company that helps to execute clinical trials of investigational new drugs to develop the best, most innovative solutions in health care. Her unique approach to business has been a key contributor to her success.

Ron Martindale Jr., co-nominator, says, “Shantal and I first met in high school in 1984. She was a leader then, and she is today. Shantal’s drive, focus, and ability to really listen has helped her overcome significant adversity and become the success that she is today. She is very well deserving of the YMCA Women of Excellence award.”

“I was immediately struck by her ability to listen and ask excellent questions as we worked together,” adds co-nominator and fellow LEDC Board of Directors member, Aaron Atcheson.

Shantal is also a proud member of several London boards and charities, contributing to the community that Stiris calls home.
